About Francophile
Established in the year 2009, Francophile set itself afoot with the aim of propagating the French language and blending the richness of her culture into this historic city. The name itself speaks volumes : Francophile – literally "passionate about the French language and its ethos." Years of overwhelming response to our initiatives centered on the French Language has led to us to create a lingual confluence at Francophile; We are jubilant in informing you that we now extend our endeavours in training to other major foreign languages also viz. German, Japanese and Spanish; all linguistically opulent in their own right. (We are now a family of ‘Linguaphiles”).
We, at Francophile, firmly believe that a language is best vivified by articulating it.The emphasis on this aspect is evident through our interactive sessions. You will be encouraged to speak right from the first day!
About our Principal
Mr. Sumit Waware
M.A. (French), A.C.A.
Sumit Waware has been teaching Accountancy and French since last 12 years. He is currently teaching French as a visiting faculty at the Department of Foreign Languages, Pune University. He has also taught French in reputed schools and institutes like National Defense Academy (NDA), Riverdale International School (ICSE), Indus International School (IGCSE & IB). He has conducted corporate trainings in companies like Bobst India, Sic-Edge Abstracts, Pune.
He is a certified trainer by the French Embassy in India to conduct the ProFLE+ course. He has conducted workshops for Teachers in Pune & Hyderabad. He is also a qualified examiner for DELF Exams (A1 to B1).
Being passionate about teaching, he has taught over 500 students till now and inspired some of them to make their careers in French language by pursuing Masters in French.
He works as a freelance translator and interpreter and has successfully completed several assignments for clients in India and in France.
